Description
This 12-year-old single malt is part of Loch Lomond’s peated Island Collection. Crafted using a combination of whisky from traditional swan neck pot stills and unique straight neck pot stills, it offers an unconventional peat character with depth, marrying smoke and spice. Matured in re-charred American oak and refill bourbon casks, it presents notes of smouldering peat, vanilla syrup, cracked black pepper, smoked bacon, roasted coffee beans, cloves, star anise, green apple, and pear. The finish is long with waxy peat and gooseberry citrus.
